01Order units
We supply by the case, the full pallet and the full container load. Mixed-brand and mixed-category pallets are standard and are the usual way to trial a range without committing a container to a single line.
Pallet composition is agreed before quotation because it changes both the pick and the packing list. Case counts per pallet and pallets per container depend on the format — can, PET, glass, carton or pouch — and on whether the load weighs out before it cubes out.
02Consolidation and loading
Orders are consolidated, palletised, wrapped and loaded at our facility in Madrid, Spain. Containers are sealed at the point of loading and the seal number is recorded on the packing list and the transport document.
Standard export pallets are EUR-format unless the destination requires otherwise. Where the destination enforces ISPM 15 on wood packaging, treated and marked pallets are used and the marking is noted on the documentation.
03Routing and gateways
Deep-sea consignments route through Valencia (VLC) or Barcelona (BCN). We choose between them on sailing schedule and transit time for your destination rather than by default. Goods move from Madrid to the load port by road. Intra-EU movements travel by road groupage or full trailer.
04Lead times
Indicative lead time from cleared funds to loading is five to fifteen working days for stock lines, longer where allocation has to be drawn or where a specific production version is required. The lead time that applies to your order is stated on the pro-forma.
Sailing schedules, transhipment and port congestion are outside our control. Estimated arrival dates are indications given in good faith, not guarantees, and are not a condition of the contract.
05Documents that travel with a consignment
As standard: commercial invoice, packing list, export declaration and the transport document matched to the Incoterm (bill of lading or CMR).
On request and where the goods qualify: a Certificate of Origin, a EUR.1 movement certificate where a preferential trade agreement gives your market a duty benefit, health or free-sale certificates for food and cosmetic lines, and manufacturer specification sheets.
Tell us at enquiry which documents your clearance requires. Certificates that must be applied for through a chamber of commerce or competent authority take working days to obtain and cannot be produced retrospectively once a container has sailed.
06Inspection before despatch
Buyers and their appointed inspection agencies are welcome to inspect prior to loading, by appointment with the logistics desk. Where a third-party inspection is a condition of your letter of credit, tell us before the pro-forma is issued so the inspection window can be built into the lead time.
07Where our obligation ends
Our delivery obligation is discharged at the point specified by the agreed Incoterm 2020 rule — at our premises under EXW, on board under FOB, CFR and CIF, and at the named place under DAP.
Import clearance, duty, destination-market registration and final delivery beyond that point are the buyer’s responsibility unless the pro-forma expressly says otherwise.
08Storage and staged release
Goods held at your request after they are ready for despatch are stored at your risk. Free storage is limited to fourteen calendar days; beyond that, storage is chargeable at the rate quoted at the time. Staged release against a phased programme is available and is agreed in writing in advance.
