How Red Bull is supplied
Format availability is allocation-dependent, so the exact specification always travels on the pro-forma invoice rather than being fixed on a web page. Tell us the destination and the label rule you work to, and we confirm which market version is on offer before you commit.

Most trade buyers test a new European supplier on Red Bull before they test them on anything else. It is the line where the specification is tightest, the market is most crowded, and the gap between a serious offer and a hopeful one shows up fastest. So this page is not a description of the drink. It is an account of what we will put in writing, what we will not, and how you can check us before a container is at stake. Iguazu Trading exports the brand from Madrid alongside the rest of our beverages for export, worldwide, by the case, the pallet or the full container load.
Start with the relationship we do not have
Iguazu Trading is an independent distributor of genuine, EU-produced brand-owner stock. We hold no appointment, authorisation, agency or exclusivity from any brand owner, and we will state that in writing on request.
That paragraph costs us enquiries and we keep it anyway, because the alternative is a claim that falls apart the first time a buyer's legal department looks at it. On a brand of this profile you should treat any supplier who implies an appointment as a supplier who has told you something checkable and untrue, which is a reasonable proxy for everything else they will tell you. What matters commercially is not who a supplier says they are connected to; it is whether the stock is genuine, EU-produced, in the manufacturer's own sealed packaging, and traceable back through a document trail you can put in front of your own customs authority.
What we can evidence
Four things, and they are the four an importer can actually use.
- Origin. Stock is produced within the EU and shipped with a Certificate of Origin, plus a EUR.1 movement certificate where a preferential agreement between the EU and your destination applies.
- Packaging integrity. Cans arrive in the manufacturer's own outer cases with the original artwork, declarations and coding intact. Nothing is re-boxed, over-stickered or relabelled by us at any point.
- Batch identity. We state the batch and the best-before marking of the allocation being offered when we quote, and what sails is what was quoted.
- Market version. Which European market the stock was produced for, and therefore what label language it carries, is confirmed before the pro-forma is signed.
Our full position on provenance, checks and what we will confirm in writing is set out under authenticity and compliance, which is the page to send to a compliance officer who wants something more formal than a sales email.
Allocation is the real constraint, and we say so
The uncomfortable truth about this brand at export is that availability moves. Can sizes, sugar-free lines and the rotating Editions are open one week and thin the next, and a supplier who publishes a permanent catalogue for it is publishing a wish. We would rather tell you what is genuinely open for your shipping window than take an order against a list.
Practically, that shapes how a first container should be composed. The core line carries the volume in nearly every market and should carry most of the order. The sugar-free line serves the same occasion for a different shopper and deserves a measured share rather than a token one. The Editions work as a rotating set of flavours: they refresh a chiller and generate trial, after which the volume returns to the core, which makes them a poor place to commit depth on an opening order. Where the plan is a whole energy section rather than one facing, buyers usually price Monster Energy on the same enquiry, since the same shoppers reach for both on different days and the two divide a chiller rather than eating into each other.
Comparing offers that are not comparable
The commonest error we see on this line is treating an EXW figure and a CIF figure as though they measured the same thing. They do not, and the gap between them is not margin — it is haulage from an inland warehouse to a coastal gateway, terminal handling, sea freight and, on CIF, insurance. Madrid is inland: Valencia sits around 355 km away and Barcelona around 620 km, each roughly a day's road haul, with Algeciras available for transhipment and Coslada for rail. Those kilometres exist whoever pays for them, and the only question is which party organises the movement.
We will re-issue an identical offer on another Incoterm so that the comparison is an honest one. We trade EXW Madrid, meaning our premises rather than a port, along with FOB, CFR, CIF and DAP under Incoterms 2020. DDP is not offered as standard, and an offer that includes it deserves a question about who is acting as importer of record at the far end.
Documents that agree with each other
A container is stopped far more often by paperwork that contradicts itself than by paperwork that is missing. Case counts on the invoice that do not match the packing list, a goods description that does not match the declaration, a pallet count that does not match what was physically loaded: each of those is a query, and a query is time on the quay. Every shipment leaves with a commercial invoice, a packing list mapped to the pallets as they were actually built, an export declaration, a transport document, a Certificate of Origin, and a EUR.1 where the destination's agreement with the EU allows it. They are prepared as one set, from one load plan, which is the only reliable way to make them agree. We sell to trade buyers only, and listed brands are quoted within one business day.
Checking us on a small order first
Nobody sensible opens with a full container on an untested supplier, and we have never once objected to a buyer starting small. A case or pallet order tells you most of what a container would: whether the batch we quoted is the batch that arrived, whether the market version matches what we described, whether the packing list maps to the pallets, and whether the documents cleared without a query. Those are the four things that go wrong, and they go wrong at any size.
What we ask for in return is a specification we can quote against: the destination port, the formats and variants, the quantity in cases, pallets or containers, the Incoterm, and any label-language requirement your entry imposes. Where you need particular dating head-room for a long routing or a slow first market, tell us at enquiry rather than after the offer, because it can change which allocation is usable. The pro-forma then carries the whole agreement — quantities, formats, batch, dating, pallet build, Incoterm and price — and nothing ships against a figure that is not on it.
